I recently went to a White Elephant Gift Exchange. IT was hysterical and fun. I always get anxiety before these parties trying to figure out the Best White Elephant gifts under $25.
During the exchange you could see which gifts really hit the mark, and which ones really didn’t get people excited.
Just so you know White Elephant is the name for the fun gift exchanges. Every participant pick a number from a jar, and that is the order in which you get to choose a gift. You either unwrap a gift from the pile or you steal a gift from another participant. It’s a way to keep people involved, socializing, and just lots of laughs.
Here are my top 5 gifts that make good white elephant gifts under $25.
- A Blanket (3 people brought this to the party. People love a good throw blanket.)
- A High Quality Candle (This one was stolen multiple times. I am not a candle person, but this one comes highly recommended.
- A really nice dish
- A plant (I am not a plant person, but succulents seemed to rock the night).
- A themed set. Someone brought a wine bottle, with a wine jacket and wine glasses. I kind of wish I was in line to steal that gift.
